Radlett Park Golf Club is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, in Hertfordshire. A challenging golf course, catering for both members and visitors. A stunning modern club house houses the Pro Shop, Bar, Restaurant and other facilities; as well as offering a wonderful venue for weddings and other events.


Elite Integrations were initially contacted to help resolve issues with the existing Sage EPoS system.

The club were also reviewing their IT systems at the time and along with the unsupported Sage EPoS system, the ageing and complex membership software needed replacing with a more modern and simpler solution that integrated with Sage 50 Accounts.

As well as the essential integration to Sage 50, the system also needed to cover the mix of Retail (Pro Shop) and Hospitality (Bar and Restaurant) features such as table service, bar tabs and kitchen printing. Members also needed to be able to top up and redeem credit balances on their member accounts, which allows fast cashless transactions at any till point.


Although the Sage EPoS software was discontinued by Sage in 2014, the Elite team have a significant amount of experience with this software. Elite were able to resolve to quickly resolve the issues being experienced.

The discontinued/unsupported Sage POS system was removed and Elite POS deployed across the Pro Shop, Bar and Restaurant on a mix of new fixed touch screen tills and tablets, for traditional tilling as well as mobile at-table service.

At the bar, tabs can be opened and settled later with tables numbers being prompted at the till for at-table service. Food orders also print out in the kitchen, which allows the chef to start preparing orders straight away.

The new solution provides near real-time integration to Sage 50 Sales Ledger, Stock and Cash Book, along with membership management now moved from the old membership system, into Sage 50, with data migrated from the old membership system.

Fast card payments are now handled by Elite POS’s integration to SagePay, rather than separate PDQ devices which required manual reconciling into to both EPoS and Sage Cash Book.
