The Eden Project is a very well-known visitor attraction in Cornwall. Nestled in a huge crater are massive Biomes housing the largest rainforest in captivity, along with stunning plants and exhibitions. The biomes serve as a backdrop to the striking contemporary gardens, summer concerts and exciting year-round family events.


The Eden Project had been using the Sage EPoS system for over 10 years and after Sage discontinued and ceased supporting this system, Eden Project looked for a support partner experienced with SagePOS. Their EPoS system had been highly modified over the years and it was and remains to be a complex task to migrate to another POS solution. Eden required support for the Ticketing, Retail and Catering tills, along with the integration to Pegasus Opera.

Additionally, Eden were moving to a new finance system, Access Dimensions, and a new ticketing and bookings system provided by Green4, based in the Microsoft NAV CRM platform. The POS system would need to be modified to integrate with Dimensions. Eden also needed to implement integration from the CRM system into Dimensions.


Support was initially put in place for the Sage POS system across all 80+ tills, with remote tools implemented to allow immediate access and fast turnaround of any issues.

Attention then turned to the integration to the new back office finance and CRM systems that were being tested.

Elite worked with the Eden Project ICT team and external vendors to build and test the new integration modules, which process on-premise ticketing, telephone and web orders from the CRM system into the Access Dimensions financials ledgers.

Stock and pricing previously held in Pegasus Opera has since been migrated to Access Dimensions and Elite developed the integration modules to syncronise this data down to the EPoS system.
