Background

JTS Biker Clothing have been producing a fantastic range of motorcycle leathers and textiles for over 25 years. They have one of the most popular motorcycle clothing and accessories shops in Leicestershire and have been a leading motorcycle clothing internet retailer for over a decade.

With over 4,000 items on the website and a store in Coalville carrying a huge selection from their own JTS range and from other leading brands, it’s an impressive website and store that any biker should visit!

Brief

JTS have been using Sage 200 and the Sage POS system for many years. After Sage discontinued their EPoS solution, a replacement was required. It was important that the new system at least replicated all of the Sage POS functionality, but brought with it new features and ease of use, whilst still retaining the all-important Sage 200 integration. Frustrations with the current Chip & PIN solution required a move to a more reliable integrated option. An additional till was now required due to a huge increase in customer numbers visiting the store in Coalville. Finally, JTS’s Sage partner Century Software (http://www.centurysoftware.co.uk/) planned to upgrade Sage 200 to a more up to date version and the EPoS project needed to coincide with this.

Solution

Working with our partner, Century Software, Elite POS was deployed onto the existing till hardware and an additional new touch screen till. New Chip & PIN software and hardware was installed, running SagePay, for fast chip & pin, contactless and Apply Pay payments. Elite POS has been configured with shortcut touch screen buttons for fast selling lines, or where barcodes are not attached to smaller products; however, with Elite’s fast wildcard searching enabled, till users are able to find a product from the 4000+ catalogue in seconds; viewing stock availability across all sizes/colours/styles. Full and live integration to Sage 200 ensure stock levels across all sales channels (shop, mail order and web) are always up to date and reports/dashboards can be accessed by management from any location. The latest remote support software enables both Century and Elite staff to quickly resolve any queries, system changes or issues.
